About

Scott Caesar
I'm an experienced Director of Research and Development having worked in the enterprise software industry for the past 15 years. I'm an aspiring entrepreneur looking for new and exciting ideas to dedicate my time toward. I have an insatiable curiosity for all things technology with an appetite to both learn and grow.
I'm currently interested in in blockchain, artificial intelligence, the internet of things, augmented reality, among other emerging technologies.
I love to share ideas. Some of my thoughts can be found throughout the internet in different podcasts, articles, and videos or at the variety of conferences I speak at. I like to imagine a future where all of these emerging technologies converge creating an a new exciting world for us to explore.
Along with technology, I have a passion for leadership, I am an avid reader, and I’m always looking for new insights or ways of thinking to expand my mind. Meditation is a fundamental part of my daily life and I’ve maintained a steady practice for the past 6 years, which keeps me grounded in the present but with an eye toward the future.
I live with my wife and two children outside of Cleveland, Ohio but I’m originally from Michigan. I received my bachelors degree in computer science from the University of Michigan before moving to the area. I enjoy snowboarding, hiking wooded trails, playing videos games with my boys, and generally spending time with my family when I’m not researching the next big thing.
I started CaesarVentures.io and Caesar Ventures LLC as a project to learn and focus my efforts toward incremental entrepreneurship. Caesar Ventures LLC was founded in 2018 when I started developing smart contracts on the Ethereum platform since I was considering deploying ERC20 and non fungible tokens to the network. That project never got deployed to the mainnet but I did end up learning a lot and buying the domain Cryptacos.io so maybe someday I’ll finish the experiment.
I look forward to continuing to build this site and share all my experiences along the way.
Thanks for stopping by,
Scott
